Harveys are delighted to announce that they now deal with the rental market. With the newly refurbished office at 3a Mere Green Road, next door to our head office, we have launched a specialist rental department from a prominent office in the heart of Mere Green.


Detailed below are a list of the services that we will offer and also our pricing structure.


Our ‘Managed’ service would involve the following:


1)      Once instructed we will draft high quality particulars with digital photos, advertise in the local press and on numerous web sites to generate maximum interest.

2)      We will prepare all the necessary documentation to include the Tenancy Agreement and take relevant references.

3)      Utilities and Local Authorities. Gas and electric utility companies will be advised of meter readings for the new tenancy. Local authorities, with regard to Council Tax and water rates will also be notified.

4)      We will collect the initial rent payment together with the security deposit. A standing order mandate is set up for subsequent rental payments by the Tenant and these payments will be paid directly to your bank account.

5)      We will arrange regular visits to your property to ensure that any problem areas can be dealt with immediately.



For the ‘Managed’ service our fee is 50% of one months’ rent with a minimum of £350 + VAT. This covers all marketing costs, viewings, inventory and the tenancy paperwork. Our monthly fee is 10% of the collected monthly rent thereafter. We charge £75 + VAT for extending an existing Tenancy Agreement and can provide an EPC for the cost of £75 + VAT. If you would like us to arrange an Inventory to be taken prior to letting then this can be done for £100 + VAT but this fee is included in our management fee. A discount off our fees would be available for multiple properties. Our Let Only service fee is 50% of one months’ rent with a minimum of £350 + VAT and this also includes all marketing costs, viewings and tenancy paperwork.
